IIB: Computers and Writing

Some best practices to incorporate

- Students learn by working together: communicating, explaining, creating, etc.
- Explicit instruction: I do, we do, you do
- Krashen's Hypothesis: There are two language learning systems: through meaningful, natural interactions, and by concious effort to gain knowledge about the language; Language acquisition occurs when learners receive messages they can understand; Levels of motivation, self-confidence, and anxiety can facilitate or hamper learning.
